Te Papa o Rotu (Te Oneparepare) Marae is located 15 kms to the west of Hamilton in Whatawhata. The primary hapuu for this marae are Ngaati Maahanga-Hourua of the Waikato confederation.
The wharetupuna is Papa o Rotu. The wharekai is named Te Paakuru o Te Rangikataua The marae connects ancestrally to Tainui waka and Waikato confederation, Pirongia Te Aroaro o Kahu maunga and Waipaa awa.
