Raungaiti marae is located on State Highway 27 in Waharoa. The principal hapuu that affiliates with this marae is Ngaati Te Oro and Ngaati Rangi Taawhaki of Ngaati Hauaa iwi.
The wharenui is named Te Oro. A koohanga reo sits adjacent to the marae. The marae connects ancestrally to Maungakawa and Maungatautari, the awa Waitoa and Waikato and the waka Tainui.
