Maatauranga Maori, Tikanga, Cultural values and enhancing traditional practices are always at the forefront of our day to day mahi.

Waterside is built off the back end of implementing the Waikato Raupatu River Settlement initiatives through our Kaitiakitanga practices to restore and protect the health and well-being of our Tupuna Awa o Waikato, Our Natural world and environments and reconnecting our people back the whenua of our ancestors/tupuna.

Waterside was established in 2012 (10 years of service to the Taiao) and built at the basin of Taupiri Maunga giving the company itself to tick over 10 years of mahi out in the field
our main focus is to enable the aspirations of Te Ture Whaimana and key principles of He Maimai Aroha.

We have worked as an independent contractor to Regional/City Councils, Waikato Tainui, Marae, Hapu and private projects.
We have successfully applied for and project managed several Waikato River Authority funded projects.

Priority for us are not only to do mahi but also building environmental champions to be active Kaiatiaki within their whanau, Marae and Hapu by upskilling and building each Kaimahi along their mahi journey.
