About Te Waharoa and Gateway to the Trades
Over the past four years, alongside our partners Whatukura Ltd, MITO, and BCITO, we have successfully implemented eight cohorts, supporting over 60 of our tribal youth into earn-while-you-learn opportunities via apprenticeships. The programme combines cultural education with practical employment skills, helping our youth understand their identity and heritage while navigating the employment world.
