Job Details

  • Position: Trainee Line Mechanic
  • Location: Hamilton Depot
  • Program: Northpower Cadetship Program

Responsibilities

  • Complete 2 weeks of in-class training and 2 weeks at the local depot rotations for ten weeks.
  • Engage in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Participate in classroom activities to gain technical qualifications.
  • Take part in field simulations to apply skills in practical environments.
  • Participate in structured work placements at the local depot.
  • Prioritise safety by following protocols and adhering to company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient and effective task completion.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
  • Be part of an organisation that values community and gives back.
  • Guaranteed work placement as a Trainee on successful completion of the programme.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s licence (Class 2) preferred.
  • Keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Genuine interest in the Electricity Supply Industry.

  • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and dedication to meet the demands of the role.
