Uia Te Kura is an urban Maaori consultancy based in Taamaki Makaurau and led by Deane-Rose Ngatai-Tua (Waikato-Tainui, Ngaati Porou, Paakehaa).
Uia Te Kura supports iwi, kaupapa Maaori, community, education, government, and social sector organisations to grow relationships with urban Maaori communities, understand lived experiences, design urban Maaori futures, and share stories of impact.
Grounded in kaupapa Maaori practice and lived experience, Uia Te Kura brings together research and engagement, strategy and design, community development, systems thinking, and storytelling.
