Kia rere arorangi ngaa aumihi ki te Mana Mutunga Kore, kia maaturuturu te toomairangi o toona atawhai ki runga i a taatou. Noo reira, whakanuia te Arikinui Kuini Ngaa wai hono i te po me toona whare. Whakaitangia ngaa whakaaro ki te hunga kua riro – haere taaoki atu raa. Whakaroakangia taatou te pito ora – Tihei mauri ora! Teenaa koutou katoa!
Te Tira Hoe o Waikato is a unique opportunity to journey our tupuna awa, reinforcing the relationship between our people and the Waikato River. From its very source at Waikato-Iti through to Te Puuaha o Waikato, the journey covers 125kms by river and 300kms by road.
This is the kaimahi registration for Te Tira Hoe o Waikato. To take part, you must:
- Attend all dates for Te Tira Hoe o Waikato.
- Attend Orientation Day as part of your acceptance. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend Orientation Day you will be withdrawn, as this is a Health and Safety requirement.
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Produce a medical certificate as part of the registration process.
Te Tira Hoe o Waikato 2026 will take place Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 September.
